Red Books of Wexford opened this satellite outlet in 2023 at the Hawthorn & Mayblossom antique shop in the centre of Gorey. Although considerably smaller than the Wexford town shop, it has a diverse selection of good-quality second-hand books.

Red Books describes itself as "a quirky independent bookstore". Located in Wexford town centre, it has a large and diverse stock of new, second-hand, antiquarian and collectable books.

Red Books started life in the village of Bridgetown in 2016 in a shed that previously housed a bull. Three years later, it moved ten miles up the road to the much busier town of Wexford, where it has since expanded and now has 80,000 books. Prices are reportedly very reader-friendly.  Booker T 10.05.24

Three former individual shops now sharing the same premises. A good idea which works well and saves on costs. The books were all clearly in order over numerous shelves and offered old with remaindered new. My specific interest in media titles saw a number of purchases particularly those of a local interest. There are some pleasant surprises to be found here.  Chris Harte 19.10.16
